Student Life at Garrett College

On Campus Living at Garrett College

Why Live on Campus?

Garrett College offers students two distinctive styles of residential living: traditional suite-style housing and two-and four-bedroom apartment-style housing designed to meet the diverse needs of students.

As a complement to the small size and affordable cost of Garrett College’s programs, our residence halls and meal plans allow for flexible, cost-effective housing options. The residence halls at Garrett College are intended to be a place for students to live, and thrive, while working toward achieving their academic goals. While residing in the residence halls, students have numerous opportunities to become involved in student life and activities, develop lifelong friendships, and make the most of their college experience.

Students enrolled in six or more credits can enjoy a full membership to the CARC, located adjacent to Garrett Hall and within walking distance from Laker Hall. The CARC features two indoor pools, a fitness center and group fitness classes and is home to all men’s and women’s basketball, women’s volleyball and wrestling contests.

The residence life staff are present and reside in the halls in an effort to ensure safety, security and community among residents. Staff are on-call 24 hours a day, seven days a week. It has been our experience that living on campus provides many successful advantages for our students.
